Here is a copy of a letter to one of my Illinois Senators, Roland Burris (D-IL).  We must keep on our elected officials!

Senator Burris,

As your constituent of the State of Illinois, I am writing to respectfully request you vote to oppose S.1 "American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009" as well as any and all future Bills that promote "Big Government" wastefull spending of taxpayer money.  I believe this Bill is not a Bill of "Stimulus," but a Bill to expand the United States Government and it's obvious encroachment of it's citizen's Unablienable Rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. 

I further fear for my children and grandchildren, who will ulitmately be paying the price for Bills such as S.1 which promote big government wasteful spending. 

As your constituent, I respectfully request a written response from you indicating how you plan to vote on this issue.
